Oluwole, I'm guessing your question is specific to the conditions we are in today - quarantines in place. I would suggest looking for ways to be of service to those who are especially vulnerable to exposure. If you have delivery options, is there a way to increase awareness of that? Are people in your community generally connected to social media and the web? Might you be able to get the word out about delivery using all of your current connections and perhaps offer them a discount or free item for every new customer they bring in? What about what you are doing with your signage...how might you invite new customers? Can you put out a sign, for example, when your paper products like toilet paper, are in stock? Here in the states, people are searching for those resources. If they come in for TP, they'll buy other provisions.

Hello Oluwole, If your business is already established, or even in the startup phase, I would suggest establishing 3 to 5 clear goals for your business (perhaps more) and then separate them into 3 distinct time periods. Establish the time periods based on your business objectives and timeline. Typically, it is 3 year view as a start. Under each goal, list the steps, tasks or work needed to achieve the primary objective. This effort will require time and becomes the foundation for your business plan. Increasing sales would dovetail into this as you look at how, what and who you are selling to (or need to sell to for sales/revenue to increase.

Hello oluwole; there is no one way to grow your business; several questions must be asked with useful answers. This will serve as the baseline of what model to implement or what activities you need to perform. You must ask, who needs my product if you already have one? What pain point am I solving, is it critical and does it apply to many people. If yes, how do I access those individuals? Several questions like these will give you the answer you seek

Hello Oluwole, you can grow your business by dedication enough time for it but first of all, make sure you are passionate about the kind of business you are doing or what you love doing otherwise you might lose interest. A lot of people who experienced success in their business did the business they loved doing not what they have seen other people do and they want to do same. So do what you are best at. Lemme add this, have these entrepreneur mindset: 1.Where to establish (Make sure what you are doing will solve the problem of the people around that vicinity) 2. When to establish ( establish at the right time, have a survey, ask the consumers questions to know how often they need it. Examine things yourself, do research on how often do people need your product and 3. Why to establish ( Ask yourself this question: Will your product/commodity solve the problem around? After examining all these you can decide, thank you and may God lead you.

To grow your business effectively, here are five steps you can follow:

  1. Define Your Growth Goals: Start by setting clear and specific goals for your business growth. Determine what you want to achieve, such as increasing revenue, expanding your customer base, entering new markets, or launching new products/services. Ensure your goals are realistic and measurable, with clear timelines for achievement.

  2. Understand Your Target Market: Conduct thorough market research to understand your target audience's needs, preferences, and pain points. Identify your ideal customers and develop buyer personas to tailor your marketing efforts effectively. Gain insights into your competitors and industry trends to find unique opportunities for growth.

  3. Develop a Strategic Marketing Plan: Create a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with your growth goals. Outline your marketing strategies and tactics, including online and offline marketing channels, social media campaigns, content marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and public relations. Ensure your marketing efforts are targeted, consistent, and focused on reaching your target market.

  4. Enhance Customer Experience: Prioritize exceptional customer service and create a positive customer experience. Build strong relationships with your existing customers through personalized interactions, prompt responses, and efficient problem-solving. Consider implementing customer loyalty programs, referral incentives, and collecting feedback to continuously improve your products/services and meet customer expectations.

  5. Monitor and Adapt: Continuously monitor your business performance and track key metrics to measure your progress towards your growth goals. Analyze sales data, customer feedback, website analytics, and other relevant metrics to gain insights into what's working and what needs improvement. Be open to feedback, adapt your strategies as needed, and remain flexible to seize new opportunities that arise.

Remember, growing a business is an ongoing process that requires dedication, perseverance, and adaptation. Regularly review and refine your strategies to ensure long-term success.
