Latitude South was growing into a successful brand prior to the COVID outbreak but has been left in hibernation as a result of the pandemic. At this time, I feel the business has an opportunity to further develop its offering and benefit from effectively being able to restart for almost zero again. The challenge, however, is developing a sound group of effective mentors who can act as a sounding board for ideas and strategy.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have grown the business for the past 20 years into a reasonably successful boutique travel brand.
My future goals
To go from a boutique brand to a luxury brand that offers a different experience to a lot of what is currently available.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I believe I would benefit from working with a mentor with a sound knowledge of successful strategy formulation in growing a brand that has a vibrant history and an excellent reputation. I don’t necessarily require a tourism industry veteran, however, I would like to work with a proven business veteran from a service industry background.
About my venture
Latitude South has been operational since 2001. A travel company focused on the luxury oriented individual who desires a much fuller experience than rote travel itineraries that cover off mass tourism can provide, Latitude South works in New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific Islands exclusively.
